Our heated, indoor pool, hot tub and sauna are located in the pool house, behind the Island House Hotel.  Open for guest use from 9:00am until 11:00pm with towels provided for guest convenience.  Access via the boardwalk off the second floor elevator landing.

Ryba’s Fudge Shop

While on Mackinac Island it is impossible to miss the sweet aroma of fudge wafting over the streets. For the sweetest souvenier on the Island we suggest some of Ryba’s famous Mackinac Island fudge. Voted the “Best Fudge in Michigan” by the Detroit News five years in a row, look for the signature pink bag. Can’t make it back for more?

Visit the website for mail order options and other delectable treats.

Starbucks

Visit the Island’s only full-service Starbucks for a full selection of expertly crafted beverages.  Mackinac Island’s Starbucks features the complete line of your favorite signature drinks on Main Street, near the Arnold Transit ferry landing.

Mary’s Bistro Draught House

The most craft beers on tap on Mackinac Island. Mary’s Bistro Draught House is a downtown destination you don’t want to miss.  Serving fabulous fare for lunch or dinner in a delightful setting.  Be sure to try waterside dining or drinks on the harbor view patio.

Golf Mackinac Island

Michigan’s longest continuously operated golf course.

Rich in history and tradition, the Wawashkamo Golf Club on Mackinac Island offers a special golfing experience for members and the public.  The historic course was designed by Scottish golf professional Alex Smith in 1898 and is one of the few remaining links courses in America.  Named by members of the Island’s Anishinabe, or Chippewa Indians, Wawashkamo means “Walk a Crooked Trail.”

For tee reservations and more information, contact the Wawashkamo Golf Club.
