Location: Island House Hotel
Job Summary
Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons according to standard recipes.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons following standard recipes.
- Serves wine and tap or bottled beer.
- Collects money for drinks served.
- Keeps bar and all work areas clean.
- Weekly inventory and makes manager aware when supplies are low.
- Responsible for keeping uniform clean and presenting a friendly and professional image.
- Cleans and places glasses to make an attractive display.
- Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Minimum of one year job experience as bartender.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be highly organized.
Reporting Relationships
Dining Room Manager and other upper management.
Uniform Items Required
- Black pants or skirt (mid-calf length)
- Black socks or nylons
- Black non-skid shoes
- Tan shorts or pants
- White socks and white tennis shoes
