DINING AT THE ISLAND HOUSE HOTEL
The 1852 Grill Room features fine regional cuisine such as Prime Rib of Beef Au Jus, Fresh Caught Lake Superior Whitefish, and Pasta Shrimp Diablo. The Grill Room overlooks the Straits of Mackinac and offers the choice of dining indoors while overlooking the wall of windows or on our new Terrace dining area that affords some of Mackinac Island's best views.

The 1852 Grill Room serves a full breakfast buffet featuring both hot and cold items throughout the season. The dining room is also open for dinner throughout the season as well. Our Terrace Lunch is served from mid-June through Labor Day, weather permitting, for your summer afternoon dining enjoyment.

The Ice House Bar & Grill is located next to our pool house in our backyard and gardens overlooking Mackinac Island State Park. With its gourmet menu to the quaint atmosphere, the Ice House Bar & Grill is popular with hotel guests and Island locals alike. It is the perfect place to have a leisurely lunch at the garden side tables or inside the air-conditioned Bar & Grill area.

The Ice House features fine selections such as Home Made Potato Chips with Warm Blue Cheese Dip, Steak Sicilian, and a Roasted Turkey Club. The food is prepared with only fresh ingredients and new selections are added daily. The Ice House Bar & Grill is the only non-smoking bar and grill on the Island. Also, for your convenience we have a computer connected to the internet full time so you can check your stocks or email while enjoying one of the Island's most popular lunch destinations.
