Bayside BBQ & Bar
Situated on the shores of the pristine Haldimand Bay in downtown Mackinac Island, Bayside BBQ & Bar is the best place to watch the ferries coming and going, waves crashing, and the occasional river otter playing, all while experiencing some of the best-smoked BBQ northern Michigan has to offer. Bayside BBQ & Bar offers classic favorites such as our mouthwatering pulled pork, and not-to-be-missed BBQ mac & cheese. So join us for lunch, dinner, or to just grab a drink bayside on a beautiful day.
Mary’s Bistro Draught Hause
Located downtown at the head of the Star Line ferry dock, the newly renovated Mary’s Bistro Draught House, offers northern Michigan’s largest collection of craft beers with 50 beers on tap. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, or drinks with unbeatable views of the harbor.
This island eatery has been serving up classic American meals since 1963. Breakfast can be enjoyed all day in this cozy venue. Mackinac Island’s fastest short order cooks whip up fresh eggs to order, breakfast sandwiches, omelets, Plath’s smoked meats, waffles and pancakes dressed with fresh fruits, nuts or chocolate, deli sandwiches, and soup.
This fabulous Mackinac Island eatery features an appropriate horse theme from the 1938 true life story of the famous horse, Seabiscuit. The former 1800s bank building was renovated to reveal the beautiful, original brick walls and hardwood floors transforming it into one of the Island’s most popular watering holes.
