Modified American Plan
The Modified American Plan (MAP) is most popular with our guests and includes a full breakfast buffet and dinner in addition to your room. Guests are served their meals in our acclaimed 1852 Grill Room, overlooking the Straits of Mackinac and featuring fine regional cuisines.

A $25 cancellation fee applies to all reservations. If cancellation is made less
than 72 hours prior to the reserved date, the entire deposit is non-refundable -
There is a $100.00 early check out charge added to rooms that check out prior
to confirmed departure date after the guest has checked in -
Rates are subject to 6% Michigan Sales Tax and a 8% Hotel Levy

Traditional rooms will accommodate up to four people and some premium and
deluxe rooms up to five. Suite capacity is eight people. -
Please have dockhands on the mainland tag your luggage for the Island
House Hotel for easy identification by our porters -
Upon departure, our bellman will re-tag your luggage for the appropriate
city and boat line. Please allow 90 minutes prior to departure. -
Special requests such as a certain room or floor cannot be guaranteed.
We try our best to accommodate requests and are successful most of the time.
Reservations are prioritized by need and by the date the reservation was made. -

LUGGAGE- Island House Hotel makes every effort to assist our guests in
safeguarding their belongings. However, Island House Hotel cannot be
responsible for any damage to your luggage or its contents. -
Breakables, medicines, computers, video equipment, travel documents and
valuables should be hand carried by the guest at all times. Baggage
handling service is complimentary, however, guests are in no way obligated
to use these services. Island House Hotel is not responsible for any lost or
stolen luggage. -
Portions of the veranda, backyard and dining areas of Island House Hotel
may sometimes be closed due to special events. - Island House Hotel welcomes Service Animals at any time, please inform
us at time of reservation so we can prepare our staff.
